Portland Payroll is a nationwide outsourcing company with a mission to empower businesses of all sizes by delivering seamless, accurate, and reliable payroll solutions. At their Portland office, their payroll processors room needed modernization, while still providing a calm sense of space.

Taking inspiration from the ‘homegrown” business itself, the design incorporates Oregon-Native plants as the main subject, in combination, with abstract line work. Including, the Trillium, Wild Huckleberry, Western Wild Ginger, Red Alder, Sparrowhawk, and Henderson’s Shooting Star.

From 3 original mural proposals, their employees fell in love with the “Homegrown” collage.
